Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the highland farms of the Kikuyu people before descending the escarpment into the breathtaking landscape of the Rift Valley, viewing sceneries en route.
Drive onward to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in 21/2hrs and proceeding on a game-viewing drive.
Lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
After lunch depart for an extensive game drive which focuses on the massive flock of flamingos fringing the shores of this soda lake. You will have an opportune view of the flamingos feeding on algae on the lake bed, while also moving back and forth and occasionally & spectacularly taking to flight filling the sky over the lake with pink color. This is what makes Lake Nakuru an ornithological spectacle.

L. Nakuru National Park has more than just flamingos. This is a major National Park and an important sanctuary for Rhino. You may see both Black and White Rhino resting under acacia trees by the Lake shore.
The park has huge herds of waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, the endangered Rothschild Giraffe and more. There are good chances of seeing the elusive leopard early morning and late evening. There are also several large prides of lion.

Beyond the lake, there is the Giant Euphorbia Forest, fascinating Baboon Cliff, Makalia Falls and more to be seen during game drives.
